I’m watching Wednesday and a zombie killing rampage abruptly cut to a mariachi band playing. I think “cut to mariachi” just might be the BEST screenplay direction ever

If Hegseth gets replaced, I vote that the American people get to hold a recall election for every senator who confirmed him a mere 3 months ago. And maybe vote on whether ANY Cabinet officials are actually qualified

Ok we live in a WEIRD reality (damn weasel) AND I’m concussed, but this is confusing, even if you ignore those factors. I checked the answers, and it’s “correct”, but HOW do you make a bolo tie that has dots???

I can understand the concussion-recovery advice to limit screen time, but I do NOT understand why I was encouraged to replace tv/phone use with reading a book… my body and eyes (and probably brain) move a whole lot more when I’m reading than they do watching TV or playing on my phone

I read too much dense nonfiction and burned out the book reading part of my brain, and it massively impacted on my ability to read for pleasure, but do you know what immediately fixed that and led to my current 2-5 book a week reading spree? Reading old middle grade and YA novels I loved as a kid.

Yes, the implications of the National Security Team group chat are terrifying on their own, but I got chilled to the bone reading this screenshot.

The repeated use of the word “start” makes me wonder what’s supposed to be next. The emojis lead me to an appalling inference

There are no words other than my usuals:
-I’m so worn out from living through “historic” or “unprecedented” events
-every time I think my satire radar can’t be destroyed any further, stuff like this happens
-Curse that stupid particle weasel for plunging us onto this timeline
