I've seen an MP talking about the Lords blocking the Employment Rights Bill again...so there might have been something they managed to change.

Also seen a suggestion from a planning industry site that the Planning and Infrastructure Bill may have passed.

Why isn't the media all over both of these?

3 more Reform/Brexit Party MEPs have been named as 'following the same script' provided by Russia to the jailed Nathan Gill.

Jonathan Bullock, Julia Reid and Steven Woolf are all named in Crown Prosecution Service Documents, as among 8 Ukip/Brexit party MEPs which Gill targeted to fulfil tasks.

I think it’s an increasingly important job for journalists to debunk the increasing volumes of conspiracy nonsense we are seeing - often on X

So this is interesting from Robert Peston.

The claims of people inside No 10 briefing the press about the PM fighting for his leadership appear to be wrong.

As I speculated this morning, it appears to have been nothing more but a response to a question from a journalist!

Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …

Why are people trying to tell us today that Labour were not honest about how hard things might be before the election?

Labour said it would be tough.

They said there would be hard decisions to make.

They said it would take a decade of renewal.

People seem to have short memories.

With the political stuff removed (as it cannot be published on the government website) I am not sure where people get the idea that manifesto promises on IT & NI will be broken. Was there other stuff to confirm it?

Wow!

So it's now 5 who recognise the experience and commitment of Jess Phillips, verses 5 who wants her out - a group which includes at least 1 which is working with Reform.

This is now nothing more than Reform trying to destroy the inquiry and undermine the Labour government.
Breaking - Five grooming gang survivors tell PM they will stay on panel only if Jess Phillips REMAINS in post.

They say Phillips has “devoted her life to hearing and amplifying the voices of women and girls who would have otherwise been unheard”.
