I was a medic at the Santa Ana protests in OC today.
I watched police fire tear gas, flash bangs, & rubber bullets into crowds of men, women, & children.
Other medics and I were clearly marked with red crosses, and the police were targeting us.

Naturally the word used by Leonard Leo that’s echoing is “crush,” as in his plans for ideas other than his own. But two skeevy terms in his NPR intrvw stood out: promoting Hollywood creators with “a knack”—the man doesn’t know his own contempt—& the plan to “inject” their work into America.
