The irony of these people complaining about the invented dangers of immigrants and then welcoming brain pollution from overseas hustlers.
Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

Congratulations to Donald Trump for surpassing Barack Obama.
Donald Trump has now officially passed Obama's eight-year total of rounds of golf — in less than five years. I've added a chart to my tracker of Trump's golf/property visits to show just how far past Obama he's getting.

Trump has mostly avoided the effects of his administration’s most damaging decisions, aided by the media bubble that surrounds him. But the shutdown, already a GOP liability, is becoming harder to dismiss.

From the poll:

More broadly, 63 percent of Americans disapprove of Trump’s management of the federal government, up from 57 percent in April and 54 percent in February.
Breaking news: More Americans blame President Trump and Republicans in Congress than Democrats for the nearly month-long government shutdown, according to a Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll.

Good to have @pbump.com back doing his weekly newsletter. Chapter 1 in this week's edition about the changing racial makeup of the U.S. is especially illuminating.
In case you were out of pocket yesterday afternoon: the second edition of my free newsletter came out. It’s ostensibly about data visualization, but the charts are a Trojan horse for commentary and jokes.

Perhaps you’ll enjoy it!
