Cypher St—What was once a trash-strewn wasteland of jersey barriers and no sidewalks is now a safe, green corridor with separated bike lanes, smooth pavement, lighting, and park space. From pedestrian no-go to a people-first street! 🌳🚲

Speak Up, #Southie!

Councilor Ed Flynn wants to ban non-residents from parking in South Boston every night of the week.
No weekends. No visitors. No flexibility.

Last night I spoke to the people of Boston about our work to improve the lives of our residents and continue Boston’s historic legacy for the public good. I’m glad that the White House watched the speech, but Boston’s record does not match their reckless propaganda.
The White House directly attacked Mayor Michelle Wu, releasing an official statement criticizing the city of Boston’s policies related to how local officials cooperate or not with federal immigration enforcement efforts.
White House attacks Mayor Michelle Wu as ‘radical’ after she criticized Trump in defiant State of the City address - The Boston Globe
Wu was fiercely defensive and defiant in her third annual address to the city of Boston Wednesday, and openly critical of the federal government.

This administration seems focused on the wrong 1%.

Women’s rights, trans rights, LGBTQ+ protections, and paper straws have no impact on the rising costs of healthcare, groceries, or overall cost of living.

Back at this again—Trader Joe’s in Fort Point seriously needs some bike racks. All we got is a one-way sign 😒

This administration is actively targeting the LGBTQ community, and we cannot afford to stand by in silence. First and foremost, we must support and protect one another—second, we must fight relentlessly.
CDC’s clinical guidelines for PrEP — which all but eliminates HIV risk — have been removed from CDC’s website. This is what you get when you search.

Expanding PrEP access is essential to end HIV infections.

They want people to get HIV as some sort of punishment for being immoral.

House Minority @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social is right: We must fight in the courts, legislatively and in the streets to stop Trumps fascist assault on our rights & American democracy. ✊🏼🇺🇸

Big shoutout to MassDOT! Had a 9 AM license renewal appointment—walked in at 8:50, out the door by 9:01. Fast, efficient, and seamless. Truly impressive! 🚘

Well, it’s official—after 13 yrs, I’ve deactivated Twitter (never calling it X). Once a place for connection, it’s now filled with disinformation, hate speech, and MAGA propaganda under chaotic leadership. Its best days are long gone. ✌️

In a few days, a divisive and dishonest little bitch returns to the White House hailed by some as a savior. It’s a stark reminder of how much we all need to work to protect our freedoms, stay vigilant, and push back against insanity when we see it. 🇺🇸

Tremont Street was in the top 3% of the most dangerous streets in Boston. In the 3-years leading up to it's redesign there were 54 EMS calls, including the tragic death of two neighbors crossing the dangerous 4-lane road in a busy mixed-use neighborhood.

I loved how @wickedmovie’s opening title typography gave a subtle nod to the classic 1939 film. Such a nice touch! 🌪️🌈👠🌻

Excited to see @RideBluebikes expand in Southie! While some worry about parking, most proposed stations prioritize sidewalks, grassy areas, or parks—not street parking. More bikes mean fewer cars, easier transit, and a stronger, more connected community. 🚲🚲🚲

This outrage over Boston adding a few new @ridebluebikes.bsky.social stations in South Boston is unwarranted. All road users deserve respect and safety, and these stations are a small step toward better, more sustainable transportation options for everyone. 🚲
