This story — which asks what happened to all of those newsroom DEI jobs, committees, and promises from 2020 — is the hardest one I've ever worked on. I hope you'll spend some time with it today.

IP Address Planning in Kubernetes 🥲

IP address planning can pose significant challenges. Opting for a subnet that's too small risks running out of IPs, while a subnet that's too large may lead to allocation issues across environments 🤯

This just highlights the fact that “blue collar” and “white working class” are now primarily defined not by economics but by cultural signifiers, mostly sharing a set of very retrograde prejudices.
in addition, by virtue of having a kind of blue collar affect himself, trump's very presence enhances the esteem of identities that are associated with hard work and americanism. supporting trump can then become a way to enhance your own sense of status or even to assimilate into the mainstream.

2) The "we're going to hold out until the writers lose their houses" statement during the WGA didn't just fortify the writers, it genuinely radicalized some managers and agents I know. People really do not know what capital thinks of them. To wit ... they don't.
100% accuracy: “Open bargaining is good democratic hygiene, but it’s also a huge reality check on the way the world works. Few workers remain unmoved once they see how their bosses’ lawyer talks about them while rejecting a modest improvement to working conditions.”
