Reality keeps ruining the script…

TRUMP: A professional agitator ran over an ICE agent who barely survived.

THE ICE AGENT: not only looks uninjured physically, he seems mentally fine, not shaken up, unbothered, walking away from the scene.

IMHO, this is the best way to frame this. Whether the shooting was or was not legally justified (and remember that the legal precedent tends to be incredibly cop friendly) is very different from whether the Trump administration is telling the truth about what happened. They are not. They are lying.

"ICE has waged a recruitment drive drenched in war metaphors and martial imagery. The type of person sought...is someone with a fervor for guns and an eagerness to apply violence."

Good work by @aselrod.bsky.social putting shooting in context of MAGA's violent ethos:

Opinion | ICE's violence is no accident
Alan Elrod: The killing of a woman by an immigration enforcement officer in Minneapolis was the raw application of Trumpist authoritarianism.

My eyes are not lying. I've seen the videos from various angles at the scene. Trump, Noem, and ICE are lying. ICE murdered a US Citizen. Fox and the Propaganda Media aren't showing the actual incident. Write/call/email your Representatives and get on the streets and protest! Keep filming!

This illegal foreign is the fault of a 5x draft dodger. NO ONE in his family ever served. Send Barron to die for oil, regime change, distract from the Epstein Files. No brown, black, female, LGBTQ, or trans. Republican WMS war should only be fought by Republican WMS and CHEVRON should pay for it.

Trump thinks he has broad latitude to take whatever he wants, regardless of international law, the sovereignty of other nations, or the impact on human life.

He is a rapist, a murderer, and a criminal psychopath.

Congress knows it but does nothing.

The Media Refuses to Call Trump’s Venezuela Attack an Act of War
By framing the abduction of President Nicolás Maduro in euphemistic terms, the media is falling in line with Trump.

Lindsey Graham talking about Putin being Lucy with the football, Ron Johnson admitting WE pay tariffs and can't afford dividend because of $38 TRILLION debt, MTG being threatened, and Tucker Carlson's 'unity' message at TP USA, I guess SOME Republicans are finally waking the f*ck up! MAGA is TDS!

"It turns out that the Warrior Dividend is nothing more than a rebranding of money that servicemembers were already going to receive. So yes, the dividend appears to be legal, but it is also a deceptive move by Trump to take credits for what Congress has already approved."

500 blacked out pages isn't "Transparency". We know that Trump's name appeared hundreds (thousands?) of times in the Epstein Files but only twice in the release. Republicans' willful disregard for the Law Is a High Crime. #LOCKTHEMUPNOW #WeWillNotBeSilenced #WeWillNotGoBack #WeWillNotComply

Trump’s and Miller’s ICE plot is to deport as many people as possible. Once they reach the impasse that 15 million people cannot be deported they’ll move on to disappearing, enslaving, and exterminating. By that point they won’t be focused on only undocumented people.

#Notice I keep seeing mainstream media using the word "accused" after a criminal has been found (or pled) "Guilty" at their trial. It's corruption-washing. "Convicted" is the appropriate adjective. EX: Convicted Sexual Offender, Convicted Money Launderer, Convicted Drug Kingpin, Convicted Felon.

It's not just 'Late Night' that's disappointed in Democrats caving. Rather that Dems had held the line for National Healthcare in 2008, want it NOW plus to End Citizen's United and to pass the Equal Rights Amendment and No Kings Act. Then, Clean Energy, Jobs, taxing the top 1%, and capping CEO pay.
