A Denver civil rights leader recently shared that they're moving to a new apartment w/lots more amenities than their current one. This leader happens to be a wheelchair user/nondriver. Monthly rent will stay the same thanks to developer building less car parking. #HomesForPeople
Nice writeup from @kyle-a-harris.bsky.social . I'd add that a main reason city officials are considering just removing parking requirements entirely is that the state law requires nearly that anyway, and removing the requirement entirely would be cheaper to administer.
