Donald Trump has the opportunity to do the funniest thing
and let's say republican states canceled their elections. okay, every vacancy on the house floor reduces the number of representatives necessary for a quorum by one vote. i guess democrats can convene the house by themselves and get to work!

“ICE is doing what ICE is designed to do” played over video of ICE engaging in acts of violence should be the wall to wall DNC media strategy right now
Mike Johnson comes out against additional guardrails on ICE as Democrats call for it.

“I think there's a lot of Democrats playing games right now with national security and with law enforcement. And I think it's dangerous. Ice is doing what ice is designed to do by its very name.”

This comprehensive Denver transit map is extremely valuable! I'm really grateful to the volunteer advocates who put it together, but also perplexed that government officials couldn't do this themselves.

Please help promote this invaluable tool!

I’m really glad that Strong Towns is so much bigger than Chuck Marohn. Our Strong Denver chapter would never do this nonsense.
Strong Towns' Chuck Marohn betraying all of his principles on behalf of the Michigan League in opposition to a pro-housing package of bills that would (among other things) legalize duplexes and ADUs, reduce parking requirements, and speed up permitting. This guy has completely lost the plot.

Highly important video of the ICE Minnesota shooting.

"The driver ... waves for other [vehicles] to go ahead"

"The agent is not being run over. In fact, his feet are positioned away from the SUV"

"Agents blocked...a physician" from providing medical care.

Video: Videos Contradict Trump Administration Account of ICE Shooting in Minneapolis
An analysis of footage from three camera angles shows that the motorist was driving away from — not toward — a federal officer when he opened fire.

Our transit mode share is closer to Phoenix’s than even to LA’s.

This is pathetic. We are the problem.
Just an annoying reminder that the unquenchable American thirst for oil, and the conquest and subjugation of other nations in futile attempts to satiate it, is brought to you in large part by our land-use patterns

Why is Denver's climate office pretending to have hit its climate goals? The city has made less than half the needed progress towards its mid-decade GHG reductions -- an 18% drop when its original goal was 40%.

NIMBYism has made blue states so notoriously expensive that it’s throwing elections to Republicans.

NIMBYism is a fatal cancer on the Democratic Party, and must be excised before it’s too late.

This might be the most underrated Front Range race for urbanism issues. Jack Rosenthal is running for RTD board against an old-guard candidate, and could be the difference between an actually-progressive RTD board and more of the same air pollution and gridlock.

Colorado doesn't need more studies and hand-wringing about housing; it needs more housing.

Colorado needs a candidate for governor who will commit to overcoming NIMBY opposition to transit-friendly housing. Will Weiser become that candidate? I'm not hopeful.
