OK, I'm not crazy. I was seeing this "If the president doesn't want to be called a Russian asset* perhaps he should stop acting like a Russian asset" post a lot.

(*which I, of course, mentally turn to "ass-hat")

Maybe just don't buy a bunch of stupid unnecessary shit from them, period...

Ooo... looking forward to all the hard-hitting investigative journalism tomorrow about aaallllll of the Day Before Thanksgiving airport chaos and interviews with those poor, bedraggled travelers just trying to get across the country for their family gathering: "It’s so busy! This sucks! 😡"

McDonald's will make you fat.
They serve Big Macs.
They serve Quarter Pounders.
They will put pounds on you.

McDonald's hamburgers are the worst.
They are worse than Burger King.
A Big Mac has 26 grams of fat.
A Quarter Pounder has 28 grams of fat.

Yep. The Lord hath spoken.

So let it be written, so let it be done.
Thou shalt not shame people for not being dressed up and super nice on commercial flights when you use tax dollars to buy private jets for yourselves.
November 25, 2025 at 1:01 AM
Oh good. So the official Blueskyist position is now to be indignant at anyone suggesting there's any such thing as "too casual" for air travel?

Finally, all those "things were better when people dressed up" can stick it up their fashionable asses.
wearing slippers and pajamas to the airport is antifa now

I don't know who needs to see this, but sensory sensitivities due to brain wiring differences are disabling.

What I mean by this is that some people have brain wiring that creates sensory integration issues... which causes the brain to over respond to sensory inputs.

I very rarely step into big corporate stores, but occasionally will kill some time wandering around one.

Was just in a Burlington, and my god is everything just fucking garbage. It all looks and feels so cheap, even the "designer" brands that seem to have exclusive discount store lines.

One big reason customer service sucks nowadays is, not surprisingly, these delightful little pocket supercomputers everyone carries to stay connected 24/7.

Once upon a time if you were at work, you were at work. Yeah, you could slack off, but no one was busy consuming/creating content on the clock.

I do appreciate when sellers on eBay reach out to offer a discount on their item you've viewed/watched.

However, 3-5% off is not going to entice me. Seriously? Come on.

one of RFK Jr.'s main beefs seem to be that people involved with medicine sometimes materially benefit from their findings, but when his friends sell things like mercury eye drops or chakra-blasting lead pills, they are simply asked to get off the Walmart PA system

Please remember: When we remind people that “there is NO evidence linking vaccines to autism” without adding “and fear of autism hurts autistics,” then we’re actually contributing to negative stereotypes about autism & autistic people. At TPGA:

How else can people keep tabs on all the bullshit to post screenshots here on Bluesky and get all that engagement with fellow Blueskyians about how awful Xitter is?
Twitter now displays where accounts are from and it has confirmed that too many of the political accounts are out of country bots.

Why are folks still there? To argue with bots? A waste of precious time while enriching the richest man on Earth.

I just saw someone being super Blueskyish over how ACKSHUALLY "Christmas is not some secret pagan holiday."

Except that it, like many of our modern holidays, is full of pagan traditions.
