Also, the guy who killed someone dropped an F bomb. So the only difference between him and Frey is killing someone.
WELKER: Do you bear any responsibility to bring down the temperature?

FREY: Of course. But I dropped an F bomb and they killed somebody. I think the killing somebody is the inflammatory element here and not the F bomb.

This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

I don't think Walz is likely to deploy NG on ICE officers. That's a fair criticism. But from a practical standpoint it has also injected that idea into the public discourse as something acceptable and necessary for Serious Democrats to consider. This is probably useful.

Democrats need to understand that they can just say “It’s insane to threaten Greenland” and “I don’t think ICE should murder Americans in the street” and you don’t need to pretend to link it to the affordability crisis.

Say bad things are bad.

Y'all could impeach her but I notice that this is not what's on offer.
Kristi Noem must resign today.

Her time as Secretary has been a complete moral failure and a public safety disaster. ICE under her leadership has repeatedly ignored our laws, terrorized communities, and made America less safe.

She must resign.

It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

Congress’s three favorite lines:
1. Sorry we can’t do anything, we’re in the minority
2. Sorry we can’t do anything, we need a supermajority
3. Sorry we can’t do anything, our party’s in the White House and we have to support the president

Try him for war crimes. Stephen Miller needs to be held accountable for his reckless disregard for human rights. If we are unable to do so then the international community needs to step up and arrest/try him.
Please note that, unlike the president, the deputy chief of staff does not have immunity from prosecution for official acts per Trump v. United States
The Deputy Chief of Staff... is in charge of military strikes? Do we even have a president?

@radleybalko.bsky.social have you heard about this "Unhumans" book. From summaries I've read it seems to be advocating for what we're experiencing now and was endorsed by J.D. Vance. The name of the book alone is chilling. It seems to be on par with Mein Kampf.
