I don't ask for sales updates on release day because I'm busy doing tour events, and when I'm done I usually go to sleep because I generally have to wake up early to go to the next tour event. Anyway, bestseller lists don't show up for a week anyway, and if I get on those, they email me about it.
Side question that I gotta ask:
So tomorrow and on other release days, do you ask your editor for sales updates? I know it's not like an election night, but is that something you actually follow?
