You can rightly deplore the venal charlatans who sold us this economic suicide, but I also now blame everyone in our political class, including those in government, who continue to bury their heads in the sand and insist we cannot reverse this most catastrophically stupid error. Shame on them all.

Whether for or against this is a thoughtful and respectful debate and the new Labour Government should be applauded for bringing a Bill on this subject so early in their Parliament- back to serious politics .
