Some more long-distance storm chasing on #Jupiter! Every 4-5 years, we see amazing outbreaks of billowing clouds on a northern mid-latitude jet (the North Temperate Belt, NTB). A new outbreak started Jan 10th. We normally get 2-4 eruptions, all at different longitudes.
