the thing that kills me about "Obama doesn't owe you ANYTHING" is: the reason people want or expect him to speak up and be more active is THEY LIKE HIM. They're expecting him to fulfill an elder statesman role in the Democratic Party because he's the only two term democratic president in 20 years
