Once again I am suspiciously lamenting that Doctor Who isn’t streaming ANYWHERE right now. Extremely sus, vibes are off, let the people watch Matt Smith in a fez. Allons-y!

ICE has detained Kseniia Petrova, a Harvard scientist from Russia working on major advancements in cancer detection, since mid-February.

If deported, she could face arrest over her opposition to the war in Ukraine.

Another reminder that xenophobia hurts all of us.

I have had to inform so many of our well-meaning neighbors up north and out west that the GOP here and across the southeast have not had real, in-person townhalls in a decade.

Part of the outrage is that many of these constituents have never laid eyes on their elected representatives.

White House bars AP reporter from Oval Office because of AP style policy on 'Gulf of America'
The highly unusual ban, which Trump administration officials had threatened earlier Tuesday unless the AP changed its style on the Gulf, could have constitutional free-speech implications.

Sometimes I think about the fact that there were people who lived and died believing Hitler was an okay guy. People who voted for him thinking it was a better choice for Germany, or would help the economy, normal people who believed lies. And then had a heart attack maybe, or a wreck, and never saw.
