Very helpful article by @broadwaybabyto.bsky.social, as always, this time about POTS — treatment options, mobility aids, tips for how you can make management easier at home, and more.

Some spinal CSF leak patients have POTS secondary to a leak, but it's also common w/ EDS & can happen post-covid.

What is happening? I truly thought Cornyn had more integrity. Where are our leaders in Texas? What a breach of trust.

The proposed tariffs will be passed on to the consumer. Just ask Walmart. And the mass deportation plan if implemented could quite possibly send us into a recession.

::Sigh:: Once more for the people in the back. If audiobooks don’t count as reading, then braille isn’t reading either. Stop gatekeeping literacy.

Agree with this 100%.
Yes. Pain causes issues with the diagnosis and treatment of other problems. It elevates your blood sugar, blood pressure, heart rate, cholesterol, temperature, hormones, and more. It makes regulating anything a nightmare as your body is at war with itself.

The new phenotype discussed in this article matches my own. Very hopeful that this might lead to a longer term cure.

Home insurance in areas hit by repetitive disasters is going to be the number one housing affordability issue over the next 4 years. And possibly going into the midterms.

More so than interest rates. Florida in particular is going to have huge problems.
Here in Florida we have a housing crisis of our own - developers are building affordable homes all around, but many are sitting empty because people can't afford the necessary home insurance.

Do you know if there’s any overlap with this and hEDS and/or MCAS?

My PT sent me this ( doi.org/10.26603/001... ) when she got the journal, because with hEDS, and non-COVID-related POTS (secondary to CIDP a long time ago,) and MCAS, rehabbing after anything is a nightmare.

You’re not violating a reading rule if you opt not to finish a book that's not resonating with you. Life is finite and we thus have a finite number of books to read. Reading shouldn’t be a chore. You needn’t feel guilty for ensuring that your time reading is spent reading things that you love.

I'm definitely using this move 🤣
When your relatives start arguing at Thanksgiving, calmly grab your favorite serving bowl of food like you're going to the kitchen to refill it, and just don't come back. Quietly escape with your favorite food.
