Excellent piece from Prof. (& @strictscrutiny.bsky.social co-host) @kateshaw.bsky.social . The Court’s emergency docket decision on the President’s power to fire the NLRB head is one of its worst. It deserves more attention.

When does an alien get a "reasonable fear" hearing & how does that work if they are being deported to a 3rd party country? Did the gov't violate a court order by denying them due process? Read up, here: joycevance.substack.com/p/welcome-to...

What can Pam Bondi possibly say is the reason?! They were following the law by attending a routine Immigration visit where ICE kidnapped them.

Thank you Joyce; I hope you’re getting invited to social media platforms watched by young people, including especially those voting for the first time this year and 2026
No attorney general should ever speak like this. She's Trump's advocate, not the people's lawyer, which is what the AG's job is. Whatever state she is barred in should start disciplinary proceedings immediately. This isn't subtle or arguable, it's wrong.
Bondi declares war on the courts: "What has happened to our judiciary is beyond me ... they are deranged ... we are sending a very strong message today ... we will come after you and we will prosecute you. We will find you."

A sitting state court judge!
While the facts in this case are still unfolding, it’s clear that actions like Judge Dugan’s are what is required for democracy to survive the Trump Regime. She used her position of power and privilege to protect someone from an agency that has repeatedly abused its own power. (5/6)
April 26, 2025 at 12:10 AM
“Before she was a judge, Dugan worked as a poverty attorney and executive director of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee” so compassion rules her heart. What’s in Bondi’s heart/mind!
Sending the FBI to arrest a sitting judge is an alarming and deeply disturbing escalation in the Administration’s ongoing attack on our judicial system.

Shortly after today’s news broke, AG Bondi went on Fox News and said, “We are sending a very strong message today… we will come after you.” (1/2)
Wisconsin judge arrested by FBI, charged with obstructing immigrant arrest
Judge Hannah Dugan’s arrest is the first known instance of the Trump administration charging a local official with interfering with immigration enforcement.

We only had him as Pope for 12 years. Just three hours ago— may all hold the Conclave in their hearts. We’ve been so fortunate in my lifetime to have John XXIII and Francis in our midst along with HHDL
