There are no distractions. It's all bad. Systematically stripping trans people of their rights, guys in balaclavas shoving any brown person with a tattoo into a ummarked vans, ending healthcare for millions. It's all in service of fascism and technofeudalism. It's all one thing. That's the point.

I volunteer w/a safe space organization for queer teenagers. It has been an extremely hard day for our trans students. If you could spare a thought, prayer, or good vibe for them tonight, they really need it. The cruelty of this decision is a lot to process. Their supportive families need care, too.

3/4. If we accept the idea that moving a person from one place to another undoes rights and disempowers the judiciary, we are endorsing the basic Nazism practice that enabled the killing of millions.

No food, no water, no medicine, no fuel.

That is barbaric. The U.S. must end our complicity in these atrocities.

The Department of Education exists to ensure every child, no matter their zip code, has access to a quality education. Without it, this administration will weaken civil rights enforcement, jeopardize special education funding, and cut off college affordability for millions of our youngest Americans.
