The Sound of Music hits different now. I’ve seen it dozens of times, tonight Edelweiss at the festival hit hard. I teared up. Didn’t see it coming but in retrospect not surprised.

I did not know the Reiners, but like everyone who works in entertainment I know people who did. The wonderful things said about them are true. This is a horrible tragedy, for his family and loved ones. It feels personal when someone so integral to the culture of your life is taken this way.

Serious question-like for everyone food prices have gone way up. What I don’t understand is why so much of the vegan food I buy has doubled and tripled in price. Why are soy products getting more and more expensive when soy farmers are hurting because tariffs keep them from selling their crops?

I feel like I missed something-why is everyone so certain the senate will even bring the Epstein petition to the floor? Id guess they’ll punt until after holiday break & then say they’re too busy working on budget to keep things open.
