Amazing how “national security” always seems to sit directly on top of an oil reserve. A U.S. president casually talking about running another sovereign country should alarm anyone who’s cracked a history book since 1953. This isn’t strength—it’s imperial muscle memory dressed up as concern.

It’s literally part of one of my Xmas gifts. Just such a dark cloud of sadness over the world. It feels like collectively too much tragedy has accumulated & we’re trapped underneath.

It’s strange but it reminds me of how I felt after Phil Hartmans murder.
Back then my family was experiencing grief over a violent death, & everyone who’s been through it knows that gut wrenching sorrow. What a wonderful legacy he and his Michelle leave, both personally and professionally.

That so many countries have a reason to leak it is telling. That it could have happened because the administration is so lax about cyber security is…scary actually.

I’m guessing this has something to do with their distribution networks being set up to sell overseas-is that it? Is it the same with flour for seitan? A little package I usually buy for $6ish dollars was going to be $19 today! Even a holiday markup doesn’t account for that insanity.
