There was an alternative voice in the NDP but racism got in the way. Singh did good things by making Ed Broadbent’s vision of pharmacare & dental care finally happen.
Instead, we get an LPC moving farther and farther to the right, indeed attracting CPC MPs to join them, with almost no progressives putting a check on that. *Because* people said "there is no alternative but to vote for Carney".

The impact of what is happening south of our border is getting real for many people in many different ways. One of our university librarians sent out an email today about how the defunding of the Department of Education will impact the ERIC database. Titles are being deselected.
