The ATA’s announcement of teachers soundly rejecting a contract offer and heading for a strike coincided with the last-in person Alberta Next panel in Calgary.

Without some amazing teachers throughout the years I would have NEVER become a doctor.
Without the amazing PUBLIC education system I wouldn't be where I am today (my family could NOT have afforded private eductation streams).

I stand with our teachers and for our future students!

It may be true that Edmonton Public Schools (EPS) has been too supine in complying with the provincial dictat.
