Well that was fun! Many thanks to Dr. Glen Graham of the Centre for Peace and Justice at Burman University for the invitation and to the audience who packed the house at the Lacombe Memorial Centre! An engaged crowd with lots of good comments and questions afterwards.

Haven’t been on here in ages… but today I’m back to share my family’s story about being stuck in the emergency dept at an Alberta hospital for more than 90 hours. The UCP is fiddling while the system burns.

Instead, a family waited 90 HOURS in ER.

Without some amazing teachers throughout the years I would have NEVER become a doctor.
Without the amazing PUBLIC education system I wouldn't be where I am today (my family could NOT have afforded private eductation streams).

I stand with our teachers and for our future students!
