This is Newman. I adopted him less than two weeks ago, and I'd say he's enjoying it here. He was a stray and estimated as 10 years old. Pretty cute!

Okay, look, I read a book, it was good, but it ended on a fucking cliffhanger and I am not okay with that. Even if the whole story doesn't wrap up, I need something in book one. I am not racing through book after book these days because my mental health is good, people. Throw me a bone.

Oh my, but #TheTombOfDragons by @pennyvixen.bsky.social was so good! I raced through it today and now need to read it again more slowly. And it certainly looks like the #CemeteriesOfAmalo series could continue, which makes me very happy!

Given their recent record, the Bruins scoring first is absolutely no guarantee, but it makes me happy! Have to savor the little things with this team.

I just read A Little Too Familiar and Rough Around the Hedges via the library, and enjoyed them immensely! Great fun, highly recommend.

Being a Bruins fan 2 years ago: This team doesn't lose! Gosh, this is so much fun to watch! (until the playoffs, at least)
This year: Well. Looks like we'll see how true it is that, if you're not in playoff position at American Thanksgiving, you probably don't make the playoffs.
