Have been thinking about “immigration has been tearing this country apart.” Surely I’m not the only person to think that it isn’t true, but inflamed rhetoric about immigration by politicians is what is tearing this country apart and so statements like that only makes it worse.

And it's *horribly* arrogant to ask people to fall in line, because trust has been broken – for them, it could get worse still even under Labour! Once a party finds it's safe to throw a group under the bus, there's no guarantee they won't do it again.

The Greens now have nearly 200 more councillors than Reform.

This is not something you'd be likely to guess from all the copiously salivating media coverage of Farage & his crew of billionaire-backed far-right chancers.
Another record year for the Green Party 👏

Many children tell us they want to walk or cycle to school but they are currently deprived of that choice because they don’t feel safe.

This week in Westminster, I led a debate on how we can make our streets safer and give children the freedom to travel actively to school.

I recommend we all read this book by @alangratz.bsky.social to our year 6. It’s a great book about rebellion. The banned books mentioned became must reads in our Year 6 class. Best way to get kids reading ;-)
