Wait u mean to tell me any member of congress could have had a staffer posted up at immigration centers across the country... and they haven't been doing this continually since 2017???
This is CRUCIAL legal context for the assault by ICE on Members of Congress today.
ICE has NO LEGAL AUTHORITY to prevent members of Congress visiting facilities to exercise oversight. There’s isn’t even a requirement to give prior notice of a visit.

Can we stop calling these atrocities "deportations." These people sold to El Salvadorian prisons were not deported. Deportation is a process that did not take place. They were rounded up and removed with no process. They were kidnapped, not deported.
