Celebrating my Dad’s 68th Birthday by rooting on our beloved Ravens in Baltimore!
I have repeatedly told my bosses that I’m still working at my job on large part because of my ability to work from home with two young kids. Instead of commuting, I get to be around in the mornings to help before school and in the evenings I get to be around for dinner/bathtime etc
Working from home increased my productivity tremendously and has given me an extra 2-3 hours with my two young kids which has, undoubtedly, made my limited time on this rock more fulfilling (and maybe theirs as well, depending on the day). It’s also allowed for home time to be devoted to them.
I switched to primarily working from home in 2015 and it unambiguously made me a better father and a better member of my community.
And while we're at it:
"Time to go back to commuting!"
"That sucks, but I guess it means we get adequate public transportation, right?"
"No."

For ten years now, I've been writing letters from Santa to my young relatives. To mark this decade, I wanted to include something really special, and after a lot of research into his workshop’s size, location and layout, I'm confident that this checks out. Hope they like it!
