Wow! There’s a lot of love for defending the #CBC. In less than two months, almost 10,000 people have followed this account. (153 to go). Thank you! If you agree with a post, please share it. Likes don’t help the algorithm’s reach. And we need to engage more Canadians. #Canada

Doug Ford needs to be accountable to ON voters for the 100M Starlink contract. Cancelling that would get DC's attention more than withdrawing US alcohol.

The news cycle right now - even just for science & higher ed - is overwhelming. We have to do it, but fortunately, we don’t have to do it alone.

My team is focused on tracking what’s happening to research funding, jobs & salaries, shared datasets, university responses & safety of our communities

This is a big deal, y'all. Federal health websites are being stripped of content or removed in their entirety. Stick with this thread for a look at what's disappeared so far! 1/x

There's an election happening in Ontario very soon and it seems a federal election is on the horizon, too.

You do *not* have to register to vote in Canada. It can make things easier to have a voter registration card but if being on that registry is unsafe for you, you CAN just show up with ID!

When there's an external threat a country needs stability.

Calling an unnecessary and disrupting election is instability and gross distraction from within.

Opposition parties, as weak as they are, must pound this into every Ontarian's head.

Doug Ford is being selfish when we need unity.

I've built a machine that can be Confidently Wrong. It can also make pictures that all look a bit the same, as well as make a video of you kissing any celebrity or person you know. In payment, I'd like to boil the world's oceans dry, & steal all literature. For some reason, my head is not on a spike
