There are concerns the rising cost of social care, which larger county and unitary councils have to legally fund, will pull funding away from the basic but essential services district councils provide.

The media focus purely on appointments - 30 million a month & up 5 million since 2019

Imagine if appts are up 20% what is going on behind the scenes

All this with 20% £/patient since 2016 in real terms cuts
