In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, glitches can be used to keep Flavio as a follower. If Mario enters the 8-bit Easter egg room with him, he will assume the role of Mario's partner. As such, this can be used to make Flavio e.g. spin, drag Mario into the shadows, or explode.

elon fucking killed a major piece of not only driving game discussion, but also sheer inherent word-of-mouth advertising. it has no doubt kneecapped many small- and mid-sized titles and i can't even tell what big games are popping off right now unless they have a Little Guy people wanna doodle
In a post-Share button world, it's been very hard to tell what games are actually hitting. It takes effort to post clips or fan art.
That new Digimon game has some fan art.

I hope Jagex introduces a Sailing exclusive Slayer master (or let Bounty tasks give slay exp, but that's extremely unlikely) so that a "sailing-locked" account would get access to the turtle questline w/o lamping for 100 years.
