No effort must be spared to bring them home:https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-administration-halts-program-track-abducted-ukrainian-children-lawmakers-2025-03-18/

Britain’s net zero sector is growing 3x faster than the overall economy — augmenting by 10% a year and generating £83bn GVA — according to new CBI report, which disproves rightwing claims that “net zero is crippling our economy”. Average pay for green jobs is £43k a year, well above the UK average.
Britain’s net zero economy is booming, CBI says

You might expect that one of the world's biggest media organisations admitting to illegal practices in accessing private information about a member of the royal family and a government minister would be front page news across the board, but apparently not.

After an FOI dispute lasting 18 months I've finally obtained the official reasons Boris Johnson gave for the peerages of Charlotte Owen & Ross Kempsell. The reasons cited for Owen seem thin, inadequate and lacking in evidence, leaving her peerage as a mystery rather than justifying & explaining it.

To pen three inflammatory pages on the basis of a complete fabrication (or mishearing) would be a sackable offence in any healthy newspaper

But this is the Telegraph and we have a media ecosystem that manufactures mendacity all day long
Allison Pearson claimed police accused her of a “non-crime hate incident” after a tweet misidentifying a protest photo. Essex Police say that never happened, releasing footage to prove it. Pearson now says she might have “misheard” – but not before the Telegraph ran three front pages on the claim.

Dear Diner:
Just be a diner. Don’t renovate to try to look fancier or sexier or like something you’re not. Just be a diner. We love you for it, and we sometimes need a break from the “it” restaurants. Extra points for linoleum tabletops, vinyl booths, good coffee, and the definitive burger deluxe.

57% of those who voted on this amendment disagree with the Governor and this madness. Can they really just sweep it under the carpet?
The referendum was rigged, it won quite a majority but Desantis set the bar so high it was almost impossible to reach.

Thank you for this powerful and moving reporting. WE need to be vigilant here in the UK too. The tactics used by the anti-abortion/anti-women’s reproductive rights lobby in the US are being exported here.
