The most important step is not to gatekeep protests or scare others away. The greatest safety is in numbers. As a criminal defense lawyer, I’m keenly aware of how few cops per capita there really are. People consistently overimagine the number of cops. Be too numerous to shut down!
Does anyone have a good thread about tips and tricks to protect yourself and others during protests?
I feel like this is stuff that needs to be consistently circulated to help people stay safe if they’re going to risk their necks showing their well earned disdain.
