Wasn’t too bad. I was vibing with the first half and as a north east gal I dug the setting. Second half kinda teetered about ngl.
I do think the Rani was cool, cool idea for a character but I'm aware that she still doesn't have much going on before now. Still, Kate O'Mara slays and twasn't too bad

What made the Rani memorable (the incomparable Kate O’Mara aside) was that she wasn’t interested in conquering the universe or matching wits with the likes of the Doctor or the Master. She -knew- she was smarter than the pair of them put together. She just wanted to be left alone doing Mad Science.

Another fun fact, according to John Byrne, the Days of Future Past storyline was inspired by an episode of Doctor Who. Day of the Daleks which was Jon Pertwee's first encounter with the Daleks and involved freedom fighters in the past coming to prevent there present.
