The largest paying crowd in the history of Wrigley Field was the day Jackie Robinson made his debut. Wrigley is the only park left Jackie played a game in. Mike Ryoko was a kid at that ballpark that day and he wrote about it. Take a minute and read this today.

NEW: As early as next week, Senators plan to introduce the first bipartisan bill to repeal Section 230, the landmark internet law

It's common sense: when we're facing workforce shortages, we should be helping those who served their time find good jobs while simultaneously supporting our local businesses and economies.

I'm proud to reintroduce the Clean Slate Act — let's get it done.

the CVE program to end later today?

CVE has been the de facto way to track software vulnerabilities - from disclosure to fixing - globally.

Feels like everyone will be worse off - and I wonder what will replace this, if anything will

A whistleblower tells Congress and NPR that DOGE may have taken sensitive labor data and hid its tracks. "None of that ... information should ever leave the agency," said a former NLRB official.

It is disheartening to see Harvard conceding ground by renaming its diversity office. Appeasement only invites more demands from Dictator Donald. Given Harvard's significant private endowments and donations, it was positioned to make a stand. Cowardice and greed won out.

Trump’s team is designing a gangster state, where he can snatch people off the street and disappear them to a foreign dictator’s torture camp.

We must stand up for the Constitution now or slide headfirst into dictatorship ourselves, a system where no one is safe from the gangsters.

Trump’s revenge-obsessed DOJ is discarding any interest in actual  victims and survivors of crime by cutting programs that provide aid and services to communities buffeted by violence and addiction. What a waste.

Some of the cuts were reversed within 24 hours, but even that temporary shut-off could be devastating to programs assisting victims, a source told NBC News.

I have a bipartisan bill that would make these protections ironclad. It passed the House unanimously (twice) and it was never taken up in the Senate. Now Trump is laying the groundwork to lock up reporters who don't rat out their sources who expose crimes by his administration.
