Yesterday, when Bovino announced ICE would be returning to Little Village today, some of us donated and fundraised to buy out street vendors in the neighborhood. This morning, volunteers hit the streets at 6:30 am, looking for vendors to buy out. Tamales make an excellent breakfast.

Yes, the caving was shameful. But again, there are only two solutions to all of this, & both require 15-20 Congressional Republicans to decide they care about the Republic more than power & party. No, it's not going to happen. That doesn't make it less true. These folks get free passes everyday.

My oldest daughter called me about an hour ago because she had seen the news, and she was just sobbing. She had received her insurance premium letter yesterday and her premium was going up to over $600 and she can't afford it! She has many medical issues right now. I'm heartbroken and angry as Hell!
