A federal judge in Oregon issued a sweeping rebuke of the Justice Department’s nationwide push to seize state voter rolls, ruling that the department can no longer be presumed to be acting in good faith and warning that its conduct threatens voters and states’ rights.

HE’S TALKING OUT OF HIS ASS, but if he does happen to know what he’s talking about, he’s saying things the police/FBI, etc have gone above and beyond not to say because they’re in the middle of a fucking investigation & don’t want the kidnapper(s) to know specifics of the goddamn investigation.

Spent most of my career as an investigator with a mid size Police Department- if I had a supervisor that was way over bearing or meddling wanting constant updates I’d give them a minor piece of information that was incorrect- that way if it got out- not my problem because it didn’t come from me.
