At 28:00. Chris Christie is exactly right about Trump as a "transactionalist." This wasn't a "setup," it was Trump not seeing beyond 5 minutes b/c his ass wasn't being kissed & he wasn't getting what he wanted right then & there.

How does 'The Discovery' have such lackluster reviews? That was superbly crafted. You don't have to like every plot point to appreciate the photography, the dialogue, the way the mood is set, & the performances. Gem of a movie.

Just watched the stage version of Clue, as this year is the film's 40th anniversary. I almost like the play adaptation better.

Pet peeve of mine is FP POV novels & short stories that don't reveal the narrator's name for at least 10 pgs. Lapses too far into style over substance.

Anyone who paid attention and saw Zuckerberg a few years ago try to flatter Xi Jinping in some eyebrow-raising ways, will not be surprised by his current campaign to win over Trump. Everything American oligarchs do externally eventually comes back to the US in ugly multipliers.

The "expensive books" lady deserves criticism, sure, but I will say that new books are unjustifiably expensive & have been for a long time.
