I'll preface this by saying Matthew Savoie looks very good and I understand why the Oilers traded McLeod for him.

But the silence around Adam Henrique not being able to cover McLeod's production *and* not being as good as McLeod defensively while making 50% more than McLeod made...it's deafening.

Stars eagerly spending a first round pick in order to weaken their defence corps; Mikael Granlund is there also.

The Oilers last scored a goal without Draisaitl scoring it or assisting on it at the 6 minute mark of the 2nd against the Avalanche, or over 2.5 games ago.

Skinner was bad last night. Thompson was good last night. Depth scoring is still a much bigger issue than expected.
