My first impression riding in a tesIa. It's got the suspension of a shopping cart. Rides so rough I can pretty much feel the paint in the crosswalk when the wheels roll over. Also dirty looks from everyone else who isn't also driving one. Can't imagine why. 🙃

I know that it can serve racism to say this but I also say this w/r/t other identities involving gender and sexuality that apply to me. It seems like the ruling elite will always find people of a given ID/demographic that agrees w/them. Why not do politics and diversify political persuasions?

Over 10,000 homes have been destroyed in the #LAFires. This is one of the largest displacement events of non-indigenous people in America since the dustbowl-- but that happened over the course of 10-29 years.
There is no solution to this that doesn't involve socialism.

I just sit & think sometimes about the state/city resources put into sweeps & absolutely tormenting the poor. And then I wonder how our situation might be different if, even not helping homeless folks but just leaving them alone & working on disaster mgmt.
