Is it just me, or is anyone else also stuck in a social media rut where you can’t bother to unfollow accounts irrelevant to your tastes, but also don’t follow any new accounts, even if you know them, and is in a state of constantly looking at content they don’t care about? Anyone? No?

This is exactly how I feel about Magic the Gathering’s migration towards digital. It is the face to face aspect that makes it special.
why would he come for online trads like this

Playing #Silksong without any prior #HollowKnight experience, and I went through Hunter’s March before even going through Deep Docks. It was..kind of fine? Challenging but not extremely difficult. Does that mean the game’s difficulty is manageable for me? Is this post a humblebrag?

Despite my love for metroidvanias, I never played Hollow Knight. More recently, the discussions around #Silksong ‘s difficulty kept me away from it, too. I bought it on a whim and after just 1 hour of playtime, I now see why this series is so popular. Cannot wait to play more.

Sharing this feels unfair to the photographers who entered other categories, but the photos in this year’s World Photo Awards Landscape category are absolutely stunning. #photography #worldphoto

Hey @shueisha-games.bsky.social ! I’m currently enjoying Urban Myth Dissolution Center, but I wanted to point out a small typo in a conversation - this should probably say “ominous”.

If there is anything I learned from these “Best of NextFest” articles, it’s that there’s absolutely no overlap between lists. That probably shows how good these games are.

My fave is @blueprincegame.bsky.social, btw, which I haven’t seen mentioned much.

Shout out to @jasonschreier.bsky.social and @kirkhamilton.com for bringing The Roottrees are Dead to their listeners’ attention. There’s absolutely no buzz around this game at all (not even a single review on Youtube). The puzzle loving hipster in me loves it.

SNES memories from my childhood: An absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack (Mission One, Two-Five and Four are excellent) attached to a meh game (that 10-year old me could not beat).

To put Nintendo's incredible continuity into a bit more perspective-

Super Mario Bros. (1985) was made by a team of five people, *38 years ago*. Of those five people, four of them worked on Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Can’t wait until I play Mario Wonder but Nintendo are losing sales because they made TotK such a huuuuuge game (still probably 60% in).
I'm loving Mario Wonder. While it is a return-to-form of some of my favorite Mario games like Super Mario World, it has one thing even those games didn't have. Annoying little guys who say "um, THAT just happened." 10/10.

When I first started my career many years ago, my manager, in an attempt to reduce my anxiety when presenting, told me to "imagine as if I were explaining something to my friends". Little did she know that I didn't have much experience with that either.

I must also say that I’m absolutely obsessed with Balatro. I have more play time in the demo than I have with many AAA games.
