When I have food that starts looking like this, I throw it out.

I suggest the United States does the same.

Huh, the font looks something like you'd see in a Hawaiian T-Shirt shop.
A new Olympic logo for the 2034 Salt Lake Winter Games was unveiled on Monday, celebrating the "3,000 days out" milestone to the Games' return to Utah.

Just a hint of aurora south of Salt Lake City. Visible through my camera, not so much with the naked eye. City lights not helping.

An electric Amazon delivery truck just drove by.

Which has me congratulating the old sound effects people from the sci-fi movies I grew up with in the late 60s and 70s. Nice job predicting what the world would sound like 50 and 60 years ahead.

COUNT I

Kat Abughazaleh did, while law enforcement was in heated pursuit, paint what appeared to be the entrance to a cave on a sheer rock wall, causing law enforcement to forcibly bonk into said wall.

COUNT II

The same thing on a different wall, but then a train came out and ran us over???

In the months prior to July 4, 1976 I recall that everything was 'bicentennial' this or that. Car dealers to civic projects had bicentennial promotional tie-ins.

50 years on, all I'm seeing is '250th anniversary' on July 4 instead of the semiquincentennial.

I have been traveling and today I present to you...the thing I saw in the Frankfurt airport.

Is it efficient? Undeniably. Does it probably work better than the normal way? Oh certainly. Produce less of a mess? Probably?

But the existence of Condiment Udders gives me a deep, aghast disquiet.

'What does it say when Trump releases a video of him pooping on protesters?'

To me that displays his distain for the 1st amendment right of free speech. By extension, that video informs me of Trump's opinion of the constitution in general and the rights of those who oppose him specifically.

I don’t need a message from Newsom. I came to that conclusion on my own. I suspect most of us did. It was based on listening to what Miller says, watching what he does, and understanding history.

Large stack of ironing last night. Streamed some old 'The Rockford Files' episodes to keep me company...

Oh, the '70s hair!
The land-yacht cars!
Vehicles inexplicably exploding!
The Elvis sunglasses!

And some great writing. Will continue streaming.

Maybe if someone could just award our 🍊🤡 president a 'Noble Peace Prize' and throw him a nice party in Sweden, he won't notice it isn't the real thing and he'll stop stirring the pot of international relations.
