Stumbled across an old election notice I received from Vigo di Cadore while purging documents today. Forgot that Italy offers discounted #train travel if you return to your hometown to vote. There's something charming about that.

In other news, I finally worked up enough energy and resolve to walk into Planet Fitness and cancel my account. No one needs that kind of recurring monthly guilt in their life.

I swear, if Libby didn't begin with the first three letters of Library, I'd forget the name every time I search for the app on my phone.

A non-technical person's drama with Bonfire:

"It's easy to deploy Bonfire with Yunohost!"

"Oh, you can't do that on a Mac. But you can run a Debian VM!"

Downloads UTM, Installs VM

"Oh, Debian 13 isn't supported!"

Installs new Debian 12 VM

Installs Yunohost

"Bonfire failed to install."

I mean, this should be common sense, right? Start by ensuring that alternatives to driving that are not absolute shit exist, and then once you've got as much choice mode share as possible, use those alternatives to aggressively remove car space from cities

So be careful. Silence always helps the oppressor, never the oppressed. Don't let your good manners work in favor of keeping people down. Speak up Loudly & often.

I regret to inform everyone that these people really, truly believe mass deportations are good and moral and necessary, and they genuinely do not care about the pain and suffering they're inflicting because those impacted are not truly human to them

Did anyone I know in Portland, OR actually see the northern lights last night? Couldn’t see anything myself but was thinking about heading out of town tonight if they’re visible with the naked eye and not just though a camera lens.
