Octavia Butler couldn’t see the future. She saw what was happening in front of her and, in addition to studying the past, was able to imagine where it would lead. It’s important to tell the truth about her because mythologizing her is a disservice to her legacy.

To be more plain: the practices that UnitedHealthcare has engaged in during this man's administration have stolen years and lives from disabled, injured, and ill people across this country.
He has inflicted a tidal wave of violence upon us, I feel no grief seeing it splash back upon himself.
