I've received SSDI since 2016. I paid into this fund from the time I was 16 years old and had to stop working in 2011. It took me 2 1/2 years to be through the process of approval (my illnesses/conditions are mostly "invisible", so I got Medicare right away & 3 years back benefits. It's our money!
