It’s really hard to accept so much coming from high government officials that could have been written by a 14 year old. Just absurd. Yet, dangerous in its absurdity.

I don’t know if there’s any coming back. We are governed by the very worst.
🚨🚨 Deranged letter from Education Secretary Linda McMahon to Harvard’s president, cutting off federal funding for any new grants.

Worth reading in full. It is NUTS.

A "hard reset" means lining people like me and you against the wall and shooting us. I have no illusions about that.
The Vegas bomber called for a "hard reset" 👀 Anyone who studies Terrorgram will recognize "hard reset" as an accelerationist phrase popular among neo-fascists
This set of highly relevant facts will get no traction at all.

I yelled and yelled in the hours and days after this to impeach and convict him to save us from ourselves. Even most of his fervent followers sheepishly tucked their faces away in knowing guilt as if they were a dog who got in the trash while you were gone to the store. God help us all.
The fact that it wasn’t will forever be America’s shame.

I suspect his new one, on attention, will be as indispensable for understanding the present and what’s to come.

He really is one of the great thinkers of our time.
I wrote an essay about our bottomless thirst for diversion and how avoiding boredom is the engine of modern life. It’s based on the research I did for my book.

Yeats, “The Second Coming” poetically defined Trump’s first term for many of us.
It feels like we are well beyond that now. It isn’t coming, it’s here.

Dylan Thomas perhaps more appropriate for this second term?
