1) You could have supported the Freedom To Vote Act, which would have outlawed partisan gerrymandering. Every Democrat voted for it. Every Republican voted against it. Womp womp.

2) You could have simply not started mid-decade redistricting with the Texas redraw. And then this wouldn’t be a thing.

"Hundreds of judges around the country have ruled more than 4,400 times since October that President Donald Trump’s administration is detaining immigrants unlawfully, a Reuters review of court records found."
Courts have ruled 4,400 times that ICE jailed people illegally. It hasn’t stopped.
The decisions amount to a huge legal rebuke, but the administration has continued jailing people indefinitely.

This is not ACTUALLY true on paper.

HSI has charged voter fraud, & CISA (part of DHS) does have a role in election security -- remember Trump fired Chris Krebs for declaring the 2020 election sound.

Not excusing the presser. But it's important to know WHAT TOOLS Noem might use to steal election.
Just as ICE and CBP have no legitimate role in "election security" neither does the head of DHS. The mere existence of this press conference should be a scandal, much less this tone-deaf comment.

To be fair to Trump, he can't even understand why people serve their *own* country. He thinks they're suckers and losers. Asking him to understand the value of alliances with *other* countries is simply beyond him
Sen. Kelly: The old world is gone because Donald Trump blew it up. We had this system of alliances that has served us since World War II. Even if we are able to repair these relationships, it's going to take generations before they feel comfortable.

Did you see this today?

Anti #ICE protesters carried a MASSIVE U.S.
Constitution through the streets of Minneapolis.
Not a flag.
Not a slogan.
The Constitution.
Thousands marched, demanding accountability and asking whether federal enforcement is aligning with the rights written on those pages.

Minnesotans showed incredible restraint. ICE & CBP were as provocative as possible, breaking laws, flaunting the Constitution, beating people, lying about it all, with Trump itching to invoke the Insurrection Act. Minnesotans organized, video'd everything, and said "Not today."
