A worker making $50,000 a year contributes to Social Security with 100% of their income.

A CEO making $20 million a year contributes to Social Security with less than 1% of their income.

Who agrees it’s time to scrap the cap?

I mean very obviously Hegseth should resign, and if it were a Democratic administration this would be quickly be a consensus position.

I'm no lawyer, but it seems like discussing war plans in Signal outside a SCIF is maybe just a little bit worse than using a private server to send emails that weren't even marked as classified. But what do I know.

Hey y’all, I’m talking to Tay offline. Please grant them reasonable grace. They’re a real human who is very isolated and going through the same shit as the rest of us in a pretty physically and mentally unsafe situation. I don’t endorse what was said, but they’re not a plant or whatever was implied.

That would be Trixie (a/k/a Bat-Mite).

Controversial political opinion, I know, but the ISACs provided a vital and vendor agnostic information sharing resource for numerous American industries and critical infrastructure realms, that reduced red tape and bad blood between competing organizations.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency confirmed this week that it is cutting funding for cybersecurity intelligence sharing bodies amid a wider campaign of firings and budget cuts impacting the federal cybersecurity landscape.

The Supreme Court long ago conferred Constitutional protections to every person present in America

If the US arrests people who have NOT been charged with a crime

Changes their immigration status WITHOUT a court hearing

And refuses to let them speak with a lawyer

Then our democracy is truly lost
The disappearing of Mahmoud Khalil, a person with permanent legal status in the US, should be a red line that everyone should recognize.

They knocked on his door and vanished him into an authoritarian system without a trace.

Your door could be next.

Trump reneged

Now he’s seeking a deal…to prevent Iran from making nuclear weapons

Typical Trump

Create a problem

Offer a “solution” identical to what was happening before

Take credit for “fixing” the problem

Democracy is burning, and we need sites like Bluesky more than ever. And Senator Durbin wants to repeal 230, which would massively stifle the ability of sites like Bluesky to exist, while massively empowering X and Meta.

Why?

It seems that someone in his office doesn't understand 230.
It’s time to repeal Section 230. We must be able to take social media companies to court for addicting kids and enabling drug trafficking on their platforms.
