Hey so “underage girls” are…children. The word you’re looking for is children. They’re not like, women-in-waiting or women-lite or whatever. They’re children. I think some of you are very uncomfortable with what that means for you but it is still true.

Sarah Game’s bill has been voted down in the Upper House!

Thank you to everyone who spoke up, stood with us, and helped protect reproductive healthcare. We’ll keep fighting to ensure healthcare decisions stay where they belong: between patients and their doctors.

Mamdani got a humanities degree.

His win helps to illustrate that one of the central forces driving higher ed’s dissolution of the humanities is the fear that teaching people how power works can also lead to their interest in seizing it on behalf of the less powerful.

Sarah Game’s proposed new bill would strip vital protections — denying care to people in mental health crises, with serious health complications, or survivors of rape, incest, or sexual slavery.

On the one hand, I'm so proud and in awe of these young people who are taking care of their community.

On the other, I can't believe in 2025 that women have been reduced to starting underground birth control networks

This isn't an "inappropriate relationship". Adults cannot have sexual relationships with children. This is the persistent sexual abuse of a child.

Let’s be clear: People should be able to access abortion any time, for any reason. But given the anti-abortion movement is so obsessed with demonizing later abortion it’s worth discussing that their laws are creating the very conditions that force people to get care later than they’d like!

SAVE SOCIOLOGY AT MACQUARIE UNIVERSITY
