Brief Editor's note: There is absolutely no quantifiable limit to the depths I would go, the Realms of hell I would traverse to make this movie happen. I will spend every forsaken penny. I will take innocent lives. I will lie cheat beg steal kill die and sell my very soul for the entity who so much as promises me the very remotest possibility of this film being made. It wouldn't even be that difficult. Everyone in the cast is still alive. If we can making 5 fucking Indiana jones movies (of which every single one is a masterpiece) with a geriatric cast and the plot contrivance of a Doctor who late-season rush job, what's stopping us from doing this thing one more time? Maybe Brendan fraser is like a hot (but gentle) archeologist daddy past his physical prime but at the very peak of his academic and emotional apogee. Like wolverine in his Logan era, but one that could hold me gently and decapitated an undead child mummy in the same fell swoop? And bring Evie back. Do time travel or something, I don't care. I need to see her face again. I need to see her knock over one more set of bookcases in the recently unburned library of Alexandria the final shelf clattering in a puff of sandy mist just in time to meet Rick's loving gaze at the end of the row, his face illuminated by the light beams of some anciently cursed full moon. I don't have much in this world but I would gladly offer it, and whatever ever else I could steal from those closest to me, if it means I made some miniscule contribution to what I'm positive would be the eternal fulfillment of my soul. I don't deserve it and maybe the world doesn't either. It's not the movie we deserve but it's just the one we need right now. To whatever God is listening, I am BEGGING YOU
