As early as February 24, 2022, I said in many TV shows & essays that we, the Allies, must intervene directly against russia.
I have often repeated since then that we can't win #OurWar without participating in it.
I reiterate this now.

Well well well. Just came off a month of travel where I did not study Portuguese one single time. We did watch some Portuguese shows on Tv during the cruise, and I did some reading, but my focused study was not there. The drag of the renovation is partly to blame, it makes me want to be elsewhere.

Why is learning a language so difficult? Watching some Portuguese shows while on vacation, and now the news. After 3 years here I still can't hold a conversation, I can't understand most of what is said by a native speaker at full speed. Sounds change when words are combined, syllables dropped...

Maybe I will post my immigrant thoughts in my own words and not wrapped in current political phraseology. Though I will say I know I am privileged. First thought, what does it really mean to "adapt to the culture"?...
